Sellarsbrook Silk
This rug is entirely handmade, using a special weaving technique. The background is knotted by looping directly around the warp and weft, giving a flat but highly tactile finish. The motif is knotted in a soft short pile, which gives the pattern unique definition. We use only the highest quality Tibetan wool for our rugs, for its durability, rich texture and subtle colour variation. The result is a unique hand knotted contemporary rug of extraordinary beauty, which will itself become an heirloom to be treasured for years to come.
