Husband and wife team Christopher and Suzanne Sharp of The Rug Company were awarded the prize by James Ogilvy, Publisher of Luxury Briefing, at a reception in The Conran Shop, London. The Luxury Briefing Awards for Excellence, now in its 11th year, rewards a business that significantly impacts the luxury industry and continually delivers all round excellence. Established 11 years ago by the Sharps, The Rug Company has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in the luxury industry, a brand that epitomises contemporary and fashionable design with exquisite quality and customer service. On winning the award, Christopher Sharp says, ‘As Luxury Briefing is a key publication for us we were delighted to be selected for this award. We are optimistic about the future.
