‘Peony’, the exquisitely crafted rug designed by Helen Amy Murray for The Rug Company has won the prestigious Homes & Gardens Classic Design Award.

Established over a decade ago, the Homes & Gardens Classic Design Awards recognise and reward excellent design, innovation, craftsmanship and functionality.

The hand knotted ‘Peony’ rug is the first piece by The Rug Company whose design is created solely from the topography of the rug. This effect was achieved by highly skilled craftsmen who hand-carved the wool into the intricate floral pattern.
