CUT OUT AND KEEP The genius of Rob Ryan's work is his ability to team his screen prints and fragile paper-cut patterns with sweet messages of love and longing. 'My only home is in your arms,' one says. Another simply states, 'I thought you didn't like me.' It's a recipe that has proved popular with everyone from the fashion world (he recently created a limited- edition cover for Elle magazine) to design companies that have collaborated with Ryan to develop new products. The latest is this hand- stitched wool tapestry, for the Rug Company.
